After breakfast, check out and head towards Lachen (8,980 ft). En route, visit Naga Waterfall, Bhim Nala Falls, and the scenic confluence of the Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu rivers at Chungthang. The 6-hour drive is filled with mountain vistas and photo-worthy stops. Arrive in Lachen by evening, check into your hotel, and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Lachen.

Start early for Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft), one of the world’s highest lakes and considered sacred. On the way, pass through Thangu Valley (12,795 ft). After soaking in the views, return to Lachen for lunch before continuing to Lachung (8,738 ft), a charming mountain village. Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung.

Visit Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft), known as the Valley of Flowers, where alpine blooms and grazing yaks dot the landscape. Stop at the Hot Spring, believed to have medicinal properties. Return to Lachung for lunch before driving back to Gangtok, stopping at Singhik View Point if weather permits for views of Mt. Khangchendzonga. Overnight in Gangtok.

After breakfast, drive to Pelling via Namchi to visit Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) and Sai Temple. Continue through winding roads and lush valleys to Pelling (6,300 ft). On arrival, check in and relax. Overnight stay in Pelling.
