Day 1 Arrival in Darjeeling

Arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Darjeeling, the Queen of the Hills. Set at 6,950 ft., this charming hill town is known for its colonial charm, panoramic Himalayan views, and tea gardens. Check into your hotel and spend the day at leisure, relaxing in the cool mountain air or strolling nearby streets. Enjoy the tranquil vibe of this serene town. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 2 Darjeeling Sightseeing with Tiger Hill

Begin early to witness the iconic sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill. After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing including the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, P.N. Zoological Park, Japanese Temple, Tibetan Refugee Center, and a tea garden (outer view). Capture scenic views on the ropeway ride and enjoy the local culture and markets. Day 3 Darjeeling to Gangtok

After breakfast, travel to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Located at an altitude of 5,500 ft., Gangtok offers a mix of scenic beauty and modern charm. Check into your hotel and relax. You can stroll through MG Marg or enjoy the peaceful vibe of the town. It’s a smooth four-hour drive offering views of lush greenery and winding mountain roads. Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 4 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Start the day with an exciting excursion to Tsomgo Lake, located at 12,400 ft. The glacial lake reflects the surrounding snow-capped peaks, making it a breathtaking sight. Continue to the sacred Baba Mandir dedicated to a revered Indian Army soldier. Both locations are surrounded by serene Himalayan beauty. Return to Gangtok in the evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 5 Gangtok to Lachung (North Sikkim)

Post breakfast, head toward Lachung in North Sikkim, an offbeat and pristine region. En route, enjoy scenic halts at Naga Waterfall, Bhim Nala Falls, and the confluence of Lachung Chu and Lachen Chu rivers at Chungthang. Arrive at Lachung (8,738 ft.), a charming village nestled in the mountains. Check in at the hotel, have dinner, and rest. Overnight at Lachung.

Day 6 Yumthang Valley Excursion

After breakfast, drive to Yumthang Valley, famously known as the “Valley of Flowers.” Located at 12,000 ft., it is home to alpine flora, snow-covered slopes, and grazing yaks. Visit the natural Hot Spring known for its medicinal properties. Return to Lachung for lunch and leisure. Overnight stay in Lachung.

Day 7 Return to Gangtok

After breakfast, check out and return to Gangtok. This six-hour scenic drive takes you through the same breathtaking mountain landscapes. On arrival, check in and relax. You may use the evening to shop for souvenirs or rest. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 8 Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Carry home unforgettable memories of your time spent in the Eastern Himalayas and the magical landscapes of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
